Sentence Structure
A sentence will usually answer the questions who, what, when. where, why, and how. A very simple sentence will have a subject (person, place, or thing who is doing something in the sentence), a verb (action word), and an object (a person or thing that receives the action). For example, "The boy played ball." The boy is the subject, played is the verb, and ball is the object.
SUBJECT + VERB + OBJECT
There are different types of sentences. There are statements (you declare something), question (you are asking something), command (you are telling someone what to do), and exclamation (you are also declaring something but with more emotion).
